The Old Point Loma Lighthouse in the fog. The lighthouse is located inside the Cabrillo National Monument at the extreme tip of Point Loma near San Diego.. Most days, the light emitted by the lighthouse was shrouded by dense fog and clouds at low altitudes that are characteristic of this area. This problem proved to be so serious that by 1891 it became necessary to build another lighthouse further downhill.
It's somewhere down the road, I'll get to it someday.
